How is the estimated total chosen?

The chosen quote is used first, otherwise the highest quote, otherwise the target budget.
The app uses a simple, predictable estimate:
- The chosen quote amount, if one has been selected.
- Otherwise, the highest quote amount, if any quotes exist.
- Otherwise, the target budget.
This is a planning aid, not a forecast. Add expected extras as expenses when appropriate or account for them in your target budget.
