Which active-workout actions can Siri perform?
Gym LiftTracker
By Dan Taylor
Control and update an active workout hands-free with Siri or Shortcuts.
During an active workout, Gym LiftTracker makes these actions available to Siri and the Shortcuts app:
- Start a saved, scheduled, or blank workout
- Pause or resume a workout
- Log the next set or a specified set
- Record reps, load, unit, effort, and failure status
- Correct a completed set
- Undo the last completed set
- Skip a set or exercise
- Start, pause, resume, extend, skip, or stop the workout timer
- Finish the workout
You can refer to an exercise by name or use conversational references such as “this exercise,” “another set,” or “the last set.” Siri asks you to choose when more than one workout or exercise matches.
Starting a workout does not create a duplicate if one is already active. Finishing requires confirmation when unfinished sets will be marked as skipped.
